Fatal Westport crash shuts down I-95 southbound

WESTPORT- A crash involving a tractor-trailer truck and at least one car has claimed one life. Connecticut State Police said the crash happened at around 7 p.m. Wednesday when the tractor-trailer crashed and caught fire on I-95 southbound near exit 17 in Westport. I-95 southbound is closed between exits 18 and 17 becasue of the crash and congested between exits 21 and 17 for about 5 miles. No other details were immediately available.
