FAA Investigating Accident At Simsbury Airport

SIMSBURY, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A single-engine, two-seat plane went off the runway at Simsbury Airport Wednesday afternoon when its brakes gave out, said the FAA.
The pilot was the only person aboard the Vans RV-6A. No injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred around 2 p.m.
The plane is based at the airport and was piloted by one of the members of the Simsbury Flying Club, said Airport Manager Brad Griswold.
