Emergency Crews Respond To Gas Explosion In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut ) –Fire crews are responding to gas explosion at the Spring Hill Inn restaurant on Storrs Road.
Officers said six people were injured in the fire that happened around 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Two of the victims are listed in critical condition.
Five ambulances, two paramedics and LifeStar were rushed to the scene.
Police said there is no active fire at the scene.
