East Hartford crash causes gas station fire, Rt. 2 ramp closed

EAST HARTFORD — An out-of-control Jeep went across a Wendy’s parking lot and crashed into a gas station, hitting three gas pumps Thursday morning. Two of those gas pumps caught fire.
A black Jeep struck the gas pumps at a Phillips 66  gas station located at 302 Main Street igniting a fire, according to the East Hartford Police Department. The accident happened just before noon.
