Dog killed in fire at multi-family home in New Haven

A dog has died after a fire at a multi-family home in New Haven on Wednesday morning. Firefighters were called to the three-family home on Ferry Street around 4 a.m. Crews there said they found heavy fire on the third floor. The flames have since been brought under control.
