DMV Will Stop Taking Walk-Ins After 2 P.M. Today

(Wethersfield, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – The Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles says it will stop taking walk-ins after 2 p.m. today at all of its offices because of the high volume of customers this week.
Motorists have stood in long lines this week following last week’s shutdown for the installation of a computer upgrade.
DMV spokesman William Seymour says DMV employees have been working until about 10:30 p.m. for the last three days; closing the doors to walk-ins early today
