Crash Shuts I-95 Northbound In Old Lyme

OLD LYME, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A fatal crash closed Interstate 95 northbound in Old Lyme Wednesday afternoon.
State police say the crash, involving a car fire and a truck and trailer towing an excavator, occurred around 2 p.m. between exits 70 and 71. Two  fatalities  were reported.
Troopers were trying to help vehicles stuck in traffic turn around and exit the highway
