Consumer Counsel: Some Consumers May Have Overpaid On Their Electric Bills
(New Britain, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Some electric customers who chose to receive their service from a third-party supplier are being advised to keep an eye on the generation service rate portion of their bill.
That’s because they may have been overcharged. State Consumer Counsel Elin Swanson Katz says that total between Eversource and United Illuminating customers who switched was a combined $23 million year to date.
