Car Hits Houses, Fence; Man Charged

(New London, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – New London Police are charging a man after they say he struck two houses, a fence and a utility pole with his vehicle Tuesday night.
Officers were called and dispatched a little after 10 p.m. to the area of Chappell Street near Griswold Court.
The suspect, 48-year-old Herbert Brown, was located near the scene.  They say Brown was involved in some type of verbal disturbance beforehand.
