Brutal cold moves in after blizzard hammers Connecticut

HARTFORD -- A one-two punch of dangerously frigid temperatures and gusty winds will wallop parts of the Northeast and Midwest on Friday and Saturday after a major storm left piles of snow and thousands of power outages along the East Coast.
Millions in these regions will bundle up against temperatures in the single digits and teens during the day and near or below zero at night.
Wind chills will make it feel far colder: as low as 20 to 40 degrees below zero in parts of the Northeast.
