Brush fire in Old Saybrook causes evacuation at industrial park

OLD SAYBROOK-A large brush fire in Old Saybrook is causing damage near Elm Street and Research Parkway. Employees at a local industrial park were located just before 4 p.m. due to the smoke and fire. Mutual aid from nearby towns has been called in to help fight the fire.
