Bloomfield Police ID Man Found Dead

(Bloomfield, CONN./ CBS Connecticut)– Bloomfield police have identified the man found dead in the street outside his home early Friday morning.
Police say an autopsy reveals that Charles Daniels, 82, sustained a “heavy impact injury” to the right hip.
Police responded to a call at a home on Cottage Grove Road just after midnight. They found Daniels man lying in the roadway.
No one was inside the house, and a search of the surrounding area yielded negative results.
