Attempted Prison Break Fails

(HARTFORD,Conn./CBS Connecticut) –  An escape attempt was  thwarted Saturday  afternoon at the Hartford Correctional Center. 25 year old Raul Santana of Hartford, who was being held in a $15,000 bond on a  Criminal Trespass charge,  gained access to the roof from an outdoor recreation yard.He was apprehended as he tried to hide  in a truck on prison grounds.
Santana  was charged with  Attempted Escape and was transferred to the Northern Correctional
