Assault investigation in Meriden

MERIDEN — Police are investigating a serious assault that left one person injured Thursday  night. The shooting happened on Platt Avenue. Details are few, but officials confirmed one person was going to be taken by LifeStar medical helicopter for treatment. Check back for further details as they develop.
