‘Zombie’ foreclosures down in central Ohio, U.S.

The number of “zombie” homes in the U.S. continues to drop as the economy and the housing sector improve, according to data released this morning by RealtyTrac. “Zombie” properties are foreclosed homes abandoned by the owner but not yet repossessed by the bank.
