Youngstown State University lifts lockdown after search for armed suspect
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University lifted a campus-wide lockdown after a suspect was reported "at large with a firearm," according to the school's Twitter account. The suspect turned himself in, the university said.Police did not immediately identify the suspect.The school had asked students, staff and faculty members to shelter in place and lock all exterior and office doors. Classes were set to resume at 3:00 P.M.There were no immediate reports of injuries.The lockdown has been lifted.
