Worthington, Dublin schools could see more funding from state
Schools including Worthington and Dublin that lost tangible personal property tax reimbursement dollars from one of Gov. John Kasich’s line-item vetoes of the new two-year budget could soon see some relief. The Senate unanimously approved a bill this afternoon that would make a few changes to the budget that took effect July 1, including additional money for schools hit when Kasich vetoed about $84 million for the 2016-17 school year. The bill would replace about $44 million of that total.
