Workers' Comp proposes plan to reduce opioid use among injured workers
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation continues to move forward in its battle against opioid addiction among injured workers, announcing proposed guidelines that address how doctors treat patients in pain, as well as those who become reliant on the drugs. "We look at the risks of dependence on these drugs, and we feel we need to be on the forefront of addressing it," said acting bureau administrator and CEO Sarah Morrison.
