Woman struck by car on city's Southeast Side

Columbus police are investigating a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the city's Southeast Side early Monday. A 19-year-old woman was struck on Winchester Pike, a couple hundred feet west of Noe Bixby Road shortly before 6 a.m., said Sgt. Brooke Wilson of the Columbus police accident investigation unit. The woman was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where she was listed in critical condition, Wilson said. Police have not released the woman's name or other details of the crash. Wilson sa
