Woman pulled to safety from burning apartment

Columbus firefighters worked to battle flames at a west Columbus apartment complex.The fire started around 3 a.m. on Thursday on Derrer Height Lane, near West Broad Street in the Hilltop area.It was called out as a three-alarm fire, meaning extra units were called out because the size of the complex.Firefighters on scene said a woman in one apartment woke up to the fire and had to be rescued.She planned to run through the flames, but a man outside broke out her window and pulled her to safety."T
