Woman hospitalized after fire at retirement community

GAHANNA -- A fire at a retirement community hospitalized one woman early Thursday morning.According to Mifflin Fire Chief Fred Kauser, an automatic alarm at The Worthington, 1201 Riva Ridge Court, put crews in action around 6:15 a.m.Kauser said there was heavy smoke in one unit and the woman was found unresponsive in the room. The woman was rescued and transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and remains unresponsive.The fire was believed to have started in the kitchen.Kau
