Woman found dead in trash fire identified

Columbus firefighters called to an apparent trash fire behind 156 South Eureka Avenue around 12:15 a.m. on December 23rd made a horrifying discovery after putting out the flames.The body of a woman was found among the ashes.Columbus police and Columbus fire arson investigators had put out a call to the public asking for assistance in helping identify the victim.That woman has now been identified as 39-year-old Demeki Lashae Walker.Walker’s death is being investigated as a homicide.Anyone w
