Winter returns: Snow wreaks havoc on area roads

A blast of snow, bitter cold and wind wreaked havoc on the area’s roadways Saturday. Even though less than a half-inch of snow fell Saturday morning, authorities reported multiple accidents throughout central Ohio. Ste. Rte. 315 was shut down for a time in both directions and a couple of the eastbound lanes of I-270 in the Sawmill Rd. area were closed for a time because of an accident.
