Why John Kasich is staying in the presidential race
Gov. John Kasich, who was winless in every single Super Tuesday presidential match-up Tuesday, is now gunning for March 15 as his do-or-die date. That is the date of the Ohio primary, and if Kasich doesn’t win there, he has said he will end his campaign. It’s also an important date for Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida — if he loses Florida on that day, his path to being competitive is also effectively shuttered.
