Wheelchair user has become city's third traffic fatality this year

Columbus police have announced that a man recently died from injuries sustained on Jan. 5 when he was struck by a vehicle while operating his wheelchair on East Broad Street on the East Side. John A. Rose Jr. died on Jan. 12, a week after the accident, according to a news release issued late Wednesday night by the Columbus police Accident Investigation Unit that did not list his age or where he lived.
