West Side man pleads guilty in 2012 home-invasion killing

A 30-year-old West Side man pleaded guilty today to involuntary manslaughter for his involvement in a home-invasion robbery that turned deadly. Mickey L. Velazquez, formerly of Brookside Boulevard, is one of four men who were charged in the death of 26-year-old Brandon Leonard, who was shot on May 2, 2012, on Holly Hill Drive on the West Side.
