Wendy’s reports strong earnings, beating Wall Street forecasts

Wendy’s Co. on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $48.9 million. The Dublin, Ohio-based company said it had profit of 18 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 11 cents per share.
