Wendy’s embraces self-order kiosks

The kiosks are coming. At a few Wendy’s locations in central Ohio, small computer stations stand apart from the main bank of cashiers. There, customers can place orders, make payments, even facilitate a mobile order — all without any interaction with an employee. These kiosks will be available to the more than 6,000 Wendy’s locations across the U.S. by the end of the year.
