Weather ends Columbus Cap City Half Marathon early

Heavy rain and lightning forced runners to shelter in place during the OhioHealth Capital City Marathon Saturday.The Columbus Division of Police closed the race course early due to the immediate danger to the public.Authorities starting tearing down the course and requested COTA buses to put runners onto while the storms moved into Columbus area.All activities at Columbus Commons have been canceled.Weather Resources: Interactive Radar | Weather Warnings | Live Radar
