Weapon recovered from student at Walnut Ridge High School

Columbus police are now investigating a student who allegedly brought a gun into Walnut Ridge High School Friday.According to a spokesperson with Columbus City Schools, the school received a tip that a student might have brought in a gun.Officials with the school were able to locate the student and retrieve the weapon.
