Watkins Memorial H. S. student dies in single-vehicle crash

LICKING COUNTY, Ohio -- A high school student has died in a car crash Saturday morning.The single-vehicle crash happened Saturday morning on York Road near Morse Road in Licking County, according to Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp.The student was a sophomore at Watkins Memorial High School, according to the Southwest Licking School District.The student's name has not been released out of respect for the family, the district said. The district said grief counselors will be available on Monday.
