Water rate increase expected for residents in Franklin County

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Franklin County Commissioners are expected to approve a water and sewer rate increase.This will affect more than 7,600 central Ohioans who pay Franklin County water and sewer service.For residences who pay for both you are looking at a $21 increase.The proposal consists of a one percent increase in water and a 2 percent increase in sewer rates similar to the ones the city of Columbus recently passed.If approved, the increase will go into effect at the beginning of 2019
