Water main break in Arena District caused traffic backup

COLUMBUS, Ohio -A water main break at Neil Avenue and Spruce Street in the Arena District in Columbus caused a traffic mess Friday afternoon ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets game.The intersection of Neil Avenue and Spruce Street was closed as well as the ramp from I-670 EB to Neil Avenue.The Ohio Department of Transportation said southbound traffic on Neil Avenue had to take I-670 EB or Spruce Street.Neil Avenue was closed at Vine Street.The roads were back open to traffic Saturday morning.
