Warm weather ties a 1950 record

Today, Columbus hit 80 degrees at 3 p.m. at John Glenn Columbus International Airport, tying a record set in 1950. That's the official mark. At Bolton Field in southwest Columbus, the temperature has hit 81, said Brian Coniglio, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
