Walnut Ridge HS placed on lockdown after gun found in student’s backpack

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Walnut Ridge High School was placed on lockdown Friday after a gun was found in a student’s backpack.According to Columbus City Schools, the principal at the high school was made aware that a student may have a weapon during a scheduled fire drill.The student reportedly ran when the principal attempted to confront him.CCS says the principal located the student’s backpack and discovered the gun and multiple magazines.Once the fire drill concluded and all the students
