VIDEO: Dashcam footage shows OSHP trooper being struck by vehicle

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released dashcam footage of a trooper being struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop last week.Sergeant Jim Smith was conducting the stop along U.S. Route 322 near Chardon just after 11 a.m. on July 29.As seen in the video, the trooper’s cruiser is hit before the at-fault vehicle hits him and the car that was stopped.According to OSHP, Sergeant Smith didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries but the video does show how dangerous nature of these cr
