Victim identified in deadly Newark hit-skip

Newark Police are investigating after a 24-year-old man was hit by a vehicle Sunday night.William Lee Goodman III was struck along State Route 16 near Dayton Road around 11:30 P.M.Police tell 10TV that Goodman was transported to Licking Memorial Hospital and later passed away from his injuries.SR-16 was closed between Dayton Road and O'Bannon Avenue while officers investigated the crash.Police say that they believe a full sized pickup or large SUV may have been involved in the crash.
