Victim gets justice 21 years after attack by serial rapist

More than two decades after she was raped in her Near East Side apartment, a woman took the witness stand this week and recalled what her attacker said when she asked him not to kill her. On Wednesday, the jurors convicted Anthony Smith, 55, of rape, kidnapping and aggravated burglary.
