Veteran grateful to have home for holidays

NELSONVILLE, Ohio — At 52, Mark Jones said he feels as if he is starting over. The disabled veteran is moving from a small apartment in Athens that he rents for $450 a month into a two-bedroom ranch house that he helped to build, which will cost him $380 to $400 a month for the zero-interest mortgage payment.
