Urban Meyer releases statement after Ohio State suspension ends

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer released a statement Monday hours ahead of his first scheduled press conference since his suspension.Meyer was suspended three games by the university for mismanaging former wide receivers coach Zach Smith, who has been accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife, Courtney Smith. Investigators say Meyer didn't properly handle the abuse claims and other behavior from the assistant coach.In the statement released on Twitter, Meyer first thanked the players and coachi
