Upper Arlington student struck by a vehicle

Upper Arlington Police tells 10TV, the driver of a car struck an Upper Arlington high school student walking at the intersection of Ridgeview Rd. and Brandon Rd.Police said the driver of the vehicle was distracted and hit the student who was walking in the crosswalk.The student was transported to the hospital out of precaution.The driver of the vehicle, also a high school student will be cited for failure to yield.
