Upper Arlington diver Abby Johnston juggles Olympics, medical school

When Abby Johnston made the turn at age 12 to trying to become a serious springboard diver in an Upper Arlington club, she had, well, a slight flaw in her form. “I’d grab my nose when I started to go into the water,” Johnston said. “I didn’t like getting water up my nose. And the coaches were quick to say, ‘No, you can’t grab your nose. That’s not how this sport works.’”
