University of Akron announces cybersecurity partnership

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — The University of Akron says it is partnering with Barberton schools to allow students to take classes in cybersecurity.An international cybersecurity nonprofit says there is a worldwide shortage in cybersecurity professionals. Cleveland.com reports Barberton students will now be able to earn up to 15 hours of college credits in UA's cybersecurity program before high school graduation or earn certifications to allow them to find a job immediately after high school.UA's c
