Under indictment, Bill Anthony sends resignation to Board of Elections

Franklin County elections director William A. Anthony Jr. has submitted his resignation. Anthony and the board’s former fiscal officer Brenna Umbstaetter were indicted in July for theft in office and tampering with documents. Both have pleaded not guilty to the third-degree felony counts.
