Two men shot on Near East Side

Two men were critically injured in a shooting this morning at E. 5th and Peters avenues. The shooting was reported about 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Express Market, according to Sgt. Elrico Alli. One victim was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and the other to Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center. Early reports indicated both had been shot in the head.
