Two men admit to 2015 fatal shooting
Two men will spend at least six years in prison for their roles in a 2015 shooting death on the East Side. Paris Rai'Shannon Royal, 20, and Tykeim Mayes, 19, each pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of manslaughter. They also admitted that a gun was used in the fatal shooting of John Pope II, 19, inside East Side apartment. Royal was charged with murder. Mayes was charged with complicity to commit murder.
