Two closed Columbus charters owe state $62,211

Two closed Columbus charter schools run by a person prosecutors labeled as a con man owe the state $62,211. The Talented Tenth Leadership Academy for Boys and Talented Tenth Leadership for Girls collected state taxpayer money for four months before the state shut it down in October 2013. State auditors later determined records were either missing or such a mess that they were unable to review them to determine whether tax dollars were accounted for.
