Treasure hunter's girlfriend sentenced to 30 days in jail

Despite a plea for mercy from her attorney, U.S. District Judge Algenon L. Marbley couldn’t bring himself to sentence Tommy Thompson’s girlfriend to a simple term of probation. “It strains my credulity to understand how probation is enough,” Marbley told Alison Antekeier as she stood before him this morning, awaiting her fate.
