Traffic nightmare in Sunbury as Tanger Outlet mall opens

More than 10,000 shoppers are expected to descend on Sunbury today for the opening of the Tanger Outlet.But that is causing a major backup on I-71.Images from Chopper 10 show traffic nearly at a standstill from Plumb Road to US 36/SR 37.The traffic is so congested that the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says parking is at capacity and is asking shoppers to come back another time.Parking is prohibited on US 36/SR 37 and Wilson Road.Anyone parking there will be towed.ALL Tanger Outlet and
