Tornado warning called off early as Columbus area gets wind-driven rain but nothing serious, NWS says

Sirens sounded a tornado warning for Columbus and Franklin County until 6:30 p.m. but the warning was called off minutes before that with no reported touchdowns, the National Weather Service office in Wilmington said. The NWS issued the tornado warning due to radar picking up potential funnel clouds within the second storm front to pass through the Columbus area late Tuesday afternoon and evening.
